腕の良いプログラマーを探すためにコーディングをさせるというのはよくある方法だが、数多くの試験を実施していると新しいテストを作るだけでも相当の労力がかかってくる。また、凝ったテストを受けさせようとするとそれなりに応募者側に時間を与えたいが、テストに対してどのような観点でコーディングをするかを見るのはなかなか難しい。 HackerRankはそんな悩みを持つ企業に向けた開発者のインタビューやスクリーニングをするためのプラットフォームだ。このサービスを利用することによって企業の採用担当者は簡単にコーディングの出題が出せるほか、オンラインで試験を受ける人にインタビューをすることによってリモートワークの応募者にも対応することができるとのことだ。 参考：TechCrunch HackerRank, the skills-based recruiting platform and online coding challenge community, today announced that it has raised a $30 million Series C funding round led by JMI Equity, a fund that specializes in helping software companies scale.
